What this is not
Papers Once reads the contract of sale and disclosure papers you give it and writes a report on what those papers say and leave out. It is not a conveyancer, a lawyer, a surveyor, or a building inspector. It does not give legal advice and it does not tell you to sign. It does not visit the property, search the title, or check anything outside the papers.
A major finding is a reason to stop and ask a conveyancer or lawyer before you sign. Do not rely on the report alone.
Files that may fail
Papers Once reads the text inside a PDF. Scanned papers that are only pictures of pages have no text, and the reading will stop with a plain message before you pay. Password-protected PDFs, handwriting and plans drawn as images cannot be read. Very long files are shortened in the middle.
Price
A$79 including GST, paid through Stripe, for one reading of one property's papers. There is no account and no subscription.
Refunds
If you pay and the reading does not come back, you get a full refund. Reply to your Stripe receipt or email the address on it with the receipt number. Because each report reads the papers you supply, we do not refund because the papers themselves were incomplete; the report will say so.
Accuracy
The report is written by a language model from the text of your papers and can be wrong or miss things. Check every finding against the papers and with your conveyancer.
