Your papers

Your PDF never leaves your browser. The text is pulled out of it on your own device. That text is held in your browser while you pay, sent once to our reading service to write the report, and then cleared from your browser.

We do not keep the papers or their text. They are not sold, not shared for marketing, and not used to train a model. The text is passed to our language-model provider (xAI) only to write your report.

Your report

The finished report is stored for up to seven days under a random link saved in this browser, so you can open it again. After that it is deleted.

Payment

Stripe handles payment. We never see your card number. We keep the Stripe session reference and a fingerprint of the papers so one payment covers one reading.

Other data

We keep short-lived counts by IP address to stop abuse of the free specimen. There are no advertising trackers.
